Appliance for lower jaw correction: Twin Block
After Treatment
Diagnosis : Severely proclined upper front teeth with spacings, backwardly positioned and crowded lower teeth, increased overjet , deep bite, small lower jaw and a lip trap.
Treatment plan and execution : The treatment was divided in two phases:
Phase 1 : Appliance for lower jaw correction: Twin Block (removable appliance)
Phase 2 : Closure of the space and retraction of the teeth with fixed braces.
Result : The lower jaw advanced with the Twin Block eliminated the lip trap. The fixed braces aligned the upper and lower teeth, closed all the spaces and transformed the patient with a brilliant smile.
